Re-Enrollment Reminder and Enrichment Notes

Re-enrollment is due by Friday, February 20th.

Enrichment Notes

Light Purple Room (18 months to 3 years) Toddlers are learning grace and courtesy lessons through the use of books such as Goldie Locks and the Three Bears. Students are also learning an introduction to fractions through the use of geometric shapes and fruit cutting. Children are studying the difference between whole, half, thirds and quarter segments.

Red Room (3-6) Kindergarten students have begun to explore beyond the hemisphere map into the puzzle maps of the 7 continents to create their own maps. Using the puzzle maps, children trace the continents onto large pieces of paper and color and label them on their own. This work helps complete the three part cycle of learning in Geography.

Moonshells (grades 1-3) In keeping with the study of the Timeline of Life, the Moonshells are studying animal classifications by phylum. Students will also learn the external parts for birds, mammals, fish, reptiles and amphibians.

Helping Hands
Manatees (grades 4-6) will continue in the “Souper Bowl of Caring” by taking food donations to Deep Well and stocking the shelves.
