Dear SPMA Booster Club Members:

I hope everyone is having a great summer! With great pleasure, I am pleased to announce that the SPMA Booster Club, Inc. has “officially” been formed! I will be the President and my husband, Brian, will be the Second Vice President (Vice President of Fundraising).

As stated in the by laws, the purpose of this Organization shall be: to encourage parent involvement in Sea Pines Montessori Academy (“SPMA”); to undertake activities, including but not limited to fundraisers and social events, to support and improve the education of students who are attending SPMA. The Organization shall also function to support an interactive relationship among parents, staff and the Board of Trustees and to promote a sense of community.

The Booster Club has an enormous, yet rewarding responsibility to the Board, Parents, Students and Teachers. This year especially, it is important to be creative, resourceful and diligent in our efforts. You will soon receive an e-mail from the Nominating Committee explaining how the election of officers to the SPMA Booster Club will work [Note: That email is now online here.]. If you feel you are up for the challenge please let them know!
