Important Upcoming Date Reminders:
• The Big Event Committee will meet at 8:30 am on Thursday, November 5th.
• School dismisses on Thursday, November 5th at 11:30 for everyone.
• Parent-Teacher conferences will be held Thursday afternoon, November 5th and all day Friday, November 6th. If you do not have an assigned time, please contact your child’s teacher directly to arrange it.

• Photos from the Movie on the Lawn have been added to the SPMA Shutterfly account. Parents, log in here to view. Our Head of School reports: “We had a full house, it was wonderful. All of the proceeds from the sale of popcorn, cider and free-trade chocolate went to the 6th year and Middle School Students as part of their service learning projects this year. The lawn was full. Lots of friends came with students and even some former students and their families joined in the fun. We had a raffle and Sallie Collins won a copy of the book Three Cups of Tea.”
• Support the Manatees’ Pennies for Peace campaign. Please bring in your pennies to donate to the jug in the lobby foyer. Also, in the same location are both a basket to collect all school year long Box Tops for Education, and bins for plastic grocery bags being collected by the SPMA Booster Club through November 10th.
