Dear Families and Friends of SPMA,

We are extremely excited to be hosting our second annual Barnes & Noble Bookfair on Saturday, December 5th and Sunday, December 6th from 9 am to 11 pm. We will have student musical performances and storytelling to make this a fun-filled weekend to start off the holiday season. The music teachers will play from 2 – 3 pm and then the children (violin and piano) will play from 3:15 pm – 4 pm.

Barnes & Noble has issued vouchers with an account number specifically for SPMA use (see below). You may print these vouchers from our SPMA website or you may stop by the front office. Please bring vouchers with you to Barnes & Noble as they must be presented at the time of sale for SPMA to benefit.

Feel free to print additional vouchers and pass them out to family and friends. These vouchers may be used at ANY Barnes & Noble in the nation on Saturday, December 5th or Sunday, December 6th and SPMA will receive a portion of the purchase price. This is a great way for relatives in other parts of the country to help SPMA receive money for much needed books and reference materials for the library and classrooms.

In addition to the fun and excitement of the bookfair at Barnes & Noble, Outback Steakhouse has generously donated free children’s meals and free adult appetizers. Coupons will be handed out to all enrolled students and parents of SPMA children performing in or attending any of the performances or storytelling throughout the weekend.

Barnes & Noble will also have a display of Montessori philosophy books as well as classroom wish lists available in case you would like to purchase a book for your child’s classroom or the school library in his/her honor.
