Important Upcoming Date Reminders:
• Thursday, January 14th at 8:45 am the Elementary mothers are inviting mothers of Kindergarten students to a Bridging Breakfast. Details are here.
• Monday, January 18th is a school holiday in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
• The next Community Meeting will take place Tuesday, January 19th at 6:00 pm (not the usual 6:30 pm!) for parents of rising third year students in the Primary, Lower Elementary and Upper Elementary programs. Invitations went home Friday, January 8th to respective families.
• SPMA’s Open House tours will be on January 21st and 22nd. Details are here. Please remember to invite your friends, parents, and anyone else interested in our school. Current families are also encouraged to attend to learn and see more about what lies ahead for your child/ren as they progress through the programs.
• The inaugural SPMA Community Dinner, a collaborative global feast, will take place on Friday, February 5th for families, guests and friends. Mark your calendars now, and details will follow.

School Notes:
• The Environmental Committee is currently forming and its first project will be to qualify SPMA as an Eco-School through a National Wildlife Federation program (details here). We need parent, grandparent, community, student and school administration & faculty volunteers. If you are interested in helping on this green committee, please email Carla Golden.
• You can still order your QSP (a Time, Inc. company) magazine subscriptions to benefit the Booster Club here!

• Please still save your pennies for the Pennies for Peace campaign and your box tops for the Box Tops for Education campaign! Collection bins are in the foyer.
