SPMA, Harbour Town team up for golf program

Sea Pines Montessori Academy has partnered with the golf professionals at Harbour Town Golf Links to teach SPMA students about the sport.

Each Monday, for the next nine weeks, the Lower Elementary students of the school will attend a program called “Hooked on Golf.” The first-, second- and third-graders will learn all facets of the game from etiquette to shot-making.

“The Sea Pines Resort is the ideal partner to introduce golf to our students,” said Darcie Patrick, Head of School for SPMA. “… No matter how you play it, (the resort is) inextricably tied to golf.”
