St. Patrick’s Day Float Volunteers Needed!

The Crew children will be working after school on decorating the float and making costumes from 3-6pm Monday, March 1st – Thursday, March 4th. We need more children and their parents to participate too!

This year’s theme is an Eco-Carnival complete with a steel drum band, trees, flowers and other natural elements made from re-purposed and recycled materials and many, many festive colors! “SPMA is Going Green” for St. Patrick’s Day!

Participating Upper School children will ride on the float, Lower School children with their parents can ride the bus, ride in a parent-pulled wagon or parent-pushed stroller alongside the float. We would like to see each child (parents too!) dressed to fit the Eco-Carnival theme with a self-made costume, head piece, decorated wagon, stroller or SPMA sign.

Show your school spirit by lending a helping hand after school Monday, March 1st – Thursday, March 4th from between 3 and 6 pm. Bring any recycled material you may have: plastic bags, paper bags, paper, magazines, clean cans, clean plastic bottles, etc.
