Heritage Babysitting Bank, KidZone & Nannies!

There are now three ways to assist freeing up parents to volunteer at the SPMA Heritage concession booth while the children are on Spring Break!

#1: Babysitting Bank:

If you would like to volunteer for an AM shift (8:30 am – 1 pm) or a PM shift (12:30 – 5 pm) where you see an empty slot on the Need Chart below, please contact Carla Golden with the following information:

1. If you’re willing to volunteer to work at the booth: the name, age and classroom of your child/ren, your shift/s of choice. Once we have you paired up, you will need to register yourself with the Booster Club as a booth volunteer.

2. If you’re willing to babysit: the name, age and classroom of your child/ren, the shift/s when you’re available.

We’ll do our best to match need and availability compatibly in order to collectively support our largest fundraiser of the year! It will take all of us – our SPMA village – to pitch in to make this project a success.

Need Chart:

AM shift: 8:30 am – 1 pm
PM shift 12:30 – 5 pm

Monday AM – 4 people
Monday PM – 6 people

Wednesday PM – 2 people

Friday AM – 7 people

Saturday AM – 6 people
Saturday PM – 4 people

Sunday AM – 5 people
Sunday PM – 6 people

#2 KidZone Tennis Camp:

You can register online for KidZone Tennis Camp during Heritage Week. If you are volunteering at the concession booth, you’ll get a 20% camp fee discount.

#3: Babysitters & Nannies, LLC has offered a deal for volunteers during Heritage Week. Courtney Boryk, owner and former SPMA student, will waive the one time use membership fee of $25! B&N, LLC ensures that all of the babysitters are CPR certified by the American Red Cross and undergo frequent background checks that include nationwide DMV, Criminal, and Sex Offender Checks.

Maybe consider “sharing” a sitter with another family. They do prefer to keep the sitter to child ratio 1:4 at the max if they are younger children or 1:5 if there is an older child there as well who could maybe help the sitter here and there. Sitters typically charge $12-$14 (depending on experience and certifications) for 2 children plus $2 an hour for each child after that.

If you have any questions feel free to email Courtney or visit the website.
