Important Dates:

• Saturday, October 23rd: SC Scarecrow Walkabout 1-3 pm and Harvest Moon Celebration 7-10 pm in the Sea Pines Forest Preserve! Get driving directions.

• Early dismissal at 11:30 for all students Thursday, October 28th and no school Friday, October 29th for Parent-Teacher Conferences. Crew will not be in session these two days.

SPMA Booster Club Notes:

• Thank you SPMA Community for all your help with The Big Event donations and volunteering!

• Box Tops, Harris Teeter (relink card with SPMA 2563-VIC PIN) Publix Partner Cards (if you need one email the Booster Club and we will send one home with student). Details here.

School Notes:

• The updated SPMA Blueprint, Attendance Policy, Independent Study Policy are now online.

• SPMA is on WHHI-TV! Check out our interviews and commercials here! Lowcountry Child airs at 7:30 pm daily on Channel 3.

• Through the month of November SPMA will be hosting a food drive for Deep Well. The collection sites are in the foyer of the school in the two brown baskets. We are asking for families to bring in non-perishable food items. Here is a list of foods Deep Well needs for Thanksgiving, Christmas Dinners and every day for families:

Cannned or jarred fruit: cranberry sauce
Whole grain rice
Canned vegetables: green beans, corn, yams, pumpkin
Jar sauerkraut
Canned or dried beans
Canned soup
Whole grain pasta
Spaghetti sauce
Peanut butter
Jelly or jam
Canned diced or whole tomatoes
Boxed corn bread mix or stuffing mix
Packets of gravy mix
