Important Dates:

• School resumes on Monday, November 29th. Hoping everyone had a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!

• The Upper School Violin Recital will be held on Tuesday, November 30th at 6 pm. Everyone is invited!

• Order forms for poinsettia plants are due by Wednesday, December 1st. Print an order form here.

• The SPMA Book Fair will be held at Barnes & Noble on Friday, December 3rd and Saturday, December 4th. More info on event flyer here.

School Notes:

• CSA boxes are coming to SPMA in January 2011! Learn about Heritage Organic Farm’s box program here. Details will follow about how to sign up to receive your bi-weekly farm fresh organic produce!

• Through the month of November SPMA will be hosting a food drive for Deep Well. The collection sites are in the foyer of the school in the two brown baskets. We are asking for families to bring in non-perishable food items. Here is a list of foods Deep Well needs for Thanksgiving, Christmas Dinners and every day for families:

Canned or jarred fruit: cranberry sauce
Whole grain rice
Canned vegetables: green beans, corn, yams, pumpkin
Jar sauerkraut
Canned or dried beans
Canned soup
Whole grain pasta
Spaghetti sauce
Peanut butter
Jelly or jam
Canned diced or whole tomatoes
Boxed corn bread mix or stuffing mix
Packets of gravy mix
