• SPMA is hosting a Silent Journey & Discovery for parents and educators on Friday, January 7th and Saturday, January 8th.

• Monday, January 17th – No school in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

• Tuesday, January 18th – Community Meeting for Third Year Students (Kindergarten, Third Grade & Sixth Grade) at 6:00 pm

• Upcoming SPMA Campus Open Houses: January 28th at 10 am, February 11th at 10 am and February 15th at 6:30 pm – tell your friends! Bring a friend! Call 785-2534 for more information.

School Notes:

• Read Hilton Head Monthly’s review of SPMA as a local private school here. Be sure to “Browse the Digital Edition” and see SPMA’s latest smashing ad on page 85!

• Do you have a new SPMA car sticker? They are showing up on family cars more and more each day. Don’t have one? See Head of School Darcie Patrick in the front office – she’ll be glad to give you one. Show your school spirit…wherever you go!

• Organic produce CSA boxes are coming to SPMA January 18th! Read more and sign up here by Friday, January 14th.

• Bess is now offering a hot lunch for our students – grilled cheese sandwiches! Order forms for Bess’ lunch are due each Friday by 10 am for the following week. Lunches can be ordered for 1 to 5 days per week. Call Bess at 785-2377 with questions and for full menu options.

SPMA Booster Club Notes:

• The SPMA Booster Club was able to donate $452.00 to the Sea Pines Museum and Forest Preserve Foundation. This money was raised from ticket sales to the Scarecrow Walkabout on October 23, 2010.
