Important Upcoming Dates:

•Pre-ordered produce boxes from Heritage Organic Farm will be available for pick-up on Tuesday, March 29th in the school foyer between Noon and 6 pm. If you’d like to sign up for the next April 12th delivery, please click here. This program is open to the public, so please share the opportunity with your friends and family.

• The waiting list of new families is stacking up fast. Be sure to secure your child’s spot for next school year. Re-enrollment forms for the 2011-12 school year are due in the front office with a $500 family deposit no later than the end of the day Friday, April 1st. Spots will be given to new families starting on Monday, April 4th.

• SPMA will be represented at the Friday, April 1st Third Annual Kid’s Fair at The Sandbox from 5 until 7:30 pm. Join the fun and invite your friends!

• SPMA will also be represented at the HHI Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 2nd from 11 am to 5 pm. Hope to see you there! Be sure to print out your free ticket (or pay $5 at the gate)!

Q: Are Montessori children successful later in life?

A: Research studies show that Montessori children are well prepared for later life academically, socially, and emotionally. In addition to scoring well on standardized tests, Montessori children are ranked above average on such criteria as following directions, turning in work on time, listening attentively, using basic skills, showing responsibility, asking provocative questions, showing enthusiasm for learning, and adapting to new situations.
