Important Upcoming Dates:

• There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, September 5th in observance of Labor Day.

• The Land’s End school uniform penny logo sale ends Tuesday, September 6th.

• There will be a Scarecrow Walkabout Planning Meeting on Friday, September 9th at 8:30 am in the atrium.

• Please take note of the social and community event dates below. These are in addition to the dates provided on the official school calendar. If you did not receive a hard copy at the Back to School Night and would like one, you may pick one up in the front office. *Please note one correction: December 1st is a Thursday. Violin Recitals will be on Thursday, December 1st*

School Notes:

• Student and staff lunch orders from Bess’ Deli (order form here) are due each Friday by 10 AM for the following week.

• The school calendar is available graphically on the spma.com home page and also on spma.com interactively. If you need to be reminded of the SPMA Log-in username and password, please email Chris Harris.

• The amazing Mrs. Perry is seeking “good trash” for art supplies. Here is her wish list. Think twice before tossing your household items! Send them in with your child at morning carpool. There is a collection bin at the front of the school.

• Join SPMA on Facebook for announcements, inspiration and conversation!

• Check out SPMA photos on Shutterfly!

• SPMA Spirit Day is every Friday. Please wear your SPMA logo wear to school.

Booster Club:

• The Scarecrow Walkabout will take place on Saturday, October 22nd from 12:30 to 3 pm with a Harvest Moon celebration featuring dinner, music and auction later in the evening. Please email the Booster Club to get involved.

• If you or your business would like to step up and become one of just 12 sponsors of the Scarecrow Walkabout, please contact the Booster Club ASAP.

• Your student should have brought home on Friday a business letter and donation forms. The Booster Club is asking each SPMA family to acquire two donations for the Harvest Moon dinner auction. No item is too big or too small. Please email the Booster Club if you need additional forms or have questions.

• There will be a Scarecrow Walkabout Planning Meeting on Friday, September 9th at 8:30 am in the atrium.
