Important Upcoming Dates:

• The Land’s End Family & Friends 25% Off Sale continues through Tuesday, September 27th.

• There will be a Scarecrow Walkabout & Harvest Moon Planning Meeting on Friday, September 30th at 8:30 am in the atrium.

• Save the Date! The Harvest Moon Celebration (dinner & auction) will follow the Scarecrow Walkabout on Saturday, October 22nd in the Sea Pines Forest Preserve. All the details are here.

• Student and staff photos will be taken on October 12th and 13th. Please see the schedule here.

School Notes:

• Please consider bringing in food donations for Deep Well now until Christmas Vacation. Thank you!

• Student and staff lunch orders from Bess’ Deli (order form here) are due each Friday by 10 AM for the following week. Grilled Cheese on Wheat has been added to the menu.

• Mrs. Perry, SPMA’s art teacher, thanks everyone for the recycled art supplies. Shelves, bins and cabinets are full! She will let everyone know when to start bringing in “funky junk” and “good garbage” again. Please hold off until further notice.

• Join SPMA on Facebook for announcements, inspiration and conversation. Check out Sea Pines Montessori Alumni on Facebook too – lots of activity and vintage yearbook photos.

• SPMA Spirit Day is every Friday. Please wear your SPMA logo wear to school.

• Please keep the auction items rolling in! Thank you!

• Invitations to the Harvest Moon Celebration (dinner & auction) will be mailed out next week to all SPMA families. If you would like an invitation sent to any friends or extended family, please email the Booster Club to have their name/s added to the mailing list.

• The Scarecrow Walkabout will take place on Saturday, October 22nd from 12:30 to 3 pm with a Harvest Moon celebration featuring dinner, music and auction from 7 to 10 pm. Please email the Booster Club to get involved.

• The Booster Club is asking each SPMA family to acquire two donations for the Harvest Moon dinner auction. No item is too big or too small. Please email the Booster Club if you need additional forms or have questions. The auction donation form, donation letter to businesses and the SPMA family donation request letter can also be found online.
