Need More Time? No problem!
"Crew" is Sea Pines Montessori Academy's after-school care program. Developed and run by experienced teachers and staff, Crew offers a safe and social environment for your child until 5:30 pm during the school week.
Crew provides the opportunity for children to eat a small snack with friends and to enjoy a second playground time in the afternoon. The children love to use their imaginations as they collaborate during free work both in the classroom and on the playground.
This program allows the opportunity for relaxed fun with friends while still implementing the important Montessori philosophy of respect for each other and their classroom that they practice throughout their school day.
Crew
At 3:00 p.m., we will say good-bye to our “All Day” friends and welcome those older primary students who will be part of the Lower School Crew community.
Although the traditional Montessori lessons and work will remain out on the shelves for those who want to choose them, we also have two shelves in the room that are designated for after-school play.
Play materials include board games, large floor puzzles, multiple building manipulatives, and items for pretend play.
