Born in Bolivia. Raised in New York City. BFA from North Carolina. Almost a decade of experience in education. Throughout my life and career I have had many mentors that have sparked and ignited my passion for teaching and storytelling. A passion that drives curiosity, that sees things differently, that allows for all voices to be heard. If I can be even a fraction of the kind of inspirations I have had, even to a single child, then I believe I have accomplished a truly wonderful thing. Igniting that spark is at the foundation of education, and I am on a journey to help everyone find theirs.
